Our bill (SB 808) has passed through both the Health Policy and Criminal Justice committees, making it eligible for a floor vote.
In the House our bill (HB 735) has stalled in Judiciary committee. The Judiciary committee will not meet again, however the chairs of both Judiciary and Health and Human Services could grant us a waiver to be removed from their committees.
If you have a moment, please call the two chairs and leave a polite request for HB 735 to be granted a waiver for removal from their committees.

Senate Bill 808 passed the Criminal Justice Committee 5-2 today! This means that 808 has cleared all of its referred committees.
SB 808 references to Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services and Appropriations were removed. This means that the Criminal Justice Committee that it is on the agenda for (coming up this Monday) will be its LAST Senate committee stop.
SB 808 cleared Health Policy Committee 4/09/13 with unanimous 9-0 vote. It is now on the agenda for Senate Criminal Justice Committee next Monday (April 15). Thank you Senator Evers!
ATTENTION: SB 808 is now on Senator Bean's agenda for the next Health Policy Committee on 4/9 (Next Tuesday) when it will be voted on.
